We have just introduced a number of new products at NAB2011 and we are proud to report our new products are already winning the hearts of our customers ! Two of our major product lines, LEADER and Cel-Soft received NAB awards during NAB2011. Our new LV5770 Multi-Monitor was recognized with a NAB Pick Hit Award and our new partner, Cel-Soft was recognized for their amazing software test platform by receiving a Vidy Award.

Awards aside, our mission this year is to provide a wider selection of product solutions while significantly reducing acquisition and operations costs for our customers. For example, our LV5800 modular and flexible test & measurement platform remains our flagship product but we are introducing a number of non-modular solutions for applications where modularity is not necessary and, at the same time, can save significant costs for our customers.

Our new LV5770 Multi-Monitor simultaneously monitors two 3G/HD/SD-SDI sources and displays picture, waverorm, vector, 5-Bar, Cinelite and status individually or in various screen combinations. Optional digital and analog audio I/O provides for built-in de-embed and digital to analog audio conversion. Eye pattern monitoring and composite input options round out this very affordable test solution.

The new LV5381 (right) is based on the existing LV5380 platform and was developed specifically for multi-source monitoring applications. The larger 8.5 inch LCD panel can be set up to show picture, waveform, vector, status and other information simultaneously and in a number of screen combinations. The instrument can monitor 4 HD/SD-SDI channels or 2 Dual Link channels simultaneously and provides 3D-assist features as an option.

The LV5381 provides 4-channel capabilities but advanced measurement features are optional. The LV5380 provides for 2-channel monitoring but several advanced measurement features are provided as standard. The LV5382, similar to the LV5381 shown here, provides both SDI and HDMI inputs. One fundamental platform with a built-in 8.5 inch LCD panel offered as 3 different products with varied I/O capabilities to suit your specific application.

Perhaps one of the most interesting introductions at the show will be our new LV5980 Multi-Monitor. The instrument accepts 2 HD/SD-SDI inputs and provides full test and measurement capabilities on a large 17 inch monitor. Full screen and combination displays of picture, waveform, vector, audio and status can be seen in various combinations. The instrument can be rack-mounted or used as a bench/table top instrument. This is not just a monitor with small test capabilities; this is a full test monitor with large display capabilities!

The new LF52 Field Strength Meter (right) was developed specifically for work with ISDB-T and ISDB-Tb systems now being implemented in South America. The instrument supports both analog and digital transmission systems to aid in the analog to digital transition. Supports BPSK, QPSK, 8PSK, 16-256QAM and OFDM for CATV operation and measures RF level, C/N. BER, MER and DELAY PROFILE. Constellation and spectral displays are also provided.

Our PHABRIX partners have outdone themselves again with the introduction of the "rack-mount version of their portable series". The Phabrix Sx series of portable instruments have been so popular that customers have been asking for rack-mountable versions.

Designed in the spirit of the already successful Phabrix Sx series, the new Rx series promise a "new beginning" for test equipment in the pro-video industry. The new Rx2000 by Phabrix brings all of the unique Phabrix portable features into racked instruments - the Rx2000 is promising to become one of the most flexible solutions in the market today.

Recognized by Videography Magazine's NAB 2011 Vidy Award, the new Cel-Scope3D is designed for use with 3D on set with live inputs as well as for reviewing and playing back 3D media files during post-production.

Cel-Scope3D can provide stereoscopic 3D monitoring and depth budget analysis at a reasonable cost. This is a Windows program that runs on a PC or Laptop without special or expensive hardware. It allows accurate camera and rig set-up to be done quickly and confidently so that your 3D production will be right first time.

A number of unique screens facilitate post-production checks permitting the evaluation of 3D material down to pixel accuracy. This allows for critical depth budget adjustments while avoiding mistakes that would abuse the audience.
